Many students take on an internship while still in school but now there is a SanFrancisco based global company helping graduating college student compete in todays tough job market.

Graduating college students are faced with launching their career during one of the most competitive job markets in the last two decades. Not only are jobs sparse and in high demand, but these graduates will be competing head-to-head for entry level positions with seasoned professionals laid off as a result of the economic crisis.
While I think that this is a great idea, I happen to see some flaws. It is a great idea to send students to different places in the world to find work and with it can come some extremely memorable and insightful times but what happens when the person comes back to the United States.

Many times when a person takes on an internship they generally wind up taking a job there but what if the person doesn't plan on staying in there internship place, they still have to come back and try to find work.

On the other hand I would find it quite exciting to go over seas to do work. Globalization is up and fastly coming so expanding jobs over the world will in the end help some people find great work. Also I feel that the expansion will open up world travel and make the rest of the world as divere as the United States and that could help out some things.

It might seem risky and scary but it would be a great experience for anyone and hopefully after all that one can come back and find a job they could keep.

You're graduated, so whats next?

So you did it you completed those long years at school and even longer nights in libraries, so what's next on the to-do list. What choices are you going to make after college.

Did you know that even many college grads still aren't sure what they specifically want to do in their careers? Even if you are sure, guess what? Career experts predict the average person will switch careers (not jobs) four to five times over his or her lifetime. Where do you go from here? How about finding your life's passion -- or at least your current life passion.

As graduation comes closer, it comes time to make a choice on a career path. Not a job, but a career. For many gradutes this is the hardest thing to do. If they went to school for something that they always had a general interest in, making that interest a career might be a difficult. On the other had if one goes and gets a degree in something general, think about a business degree, then they might not know where to even begin.

As far as I am concerened, I decided to get into public relations thinking that I would be doing more talking than writing. Not so much. Come to find out this field has a lot of writing that comes along with it and truth be told, I don't really like to write. That just might create a problem I think. At any rate, there are many choices I'm going to have to make as a mass communications major. Apparently there are many things that I could do, I just wish an idea would come along sooner rather than later.

P.S. My topic deals with graduating college such as what to do after and the hardships with graduating in this economy.

Why graduate now?

At this rate, what is the point of graduating from college now?

With unemployment rates spiking and companies reluctant to hire, many college seniors are facing the prospect of graduating without a job and moving home to save money.

I was always told to go to college, graduate, and get out on my own. Well with the way the economy is now, I don't see any reason why I shouldn't just strech out my stay in college and continue to live off my parents! I have a place to stay, free groceries, gas, and all those things paid for so why give that up. Yes, it would be nice to be at home and always have Mom and Daddy's cooking but who wants to go home? Especially when my parents live in a small town. There would be no luck in me finding a job! As the article says, would living back with family limit the things that you can do? I'm too used to being able to come and go as I please, would moving back in with the 'rents mean restirctions? I think not. Looks like I might be on the 10 year graduating plan... and I only have 2 more semesters to go!
